Obscure Beauty: Femina Ridens (The Frightened Woman) (1969)

This film is killer sexy! A total twisted pleasure. A sadomasochistic power play with unbelievable production design, it's psychedelic surrealism with style to spare.

Dagmar Lassander's seductive striptease (set to another awesome Stelvio Cipriano score) makes for one of the hottest screen moments I've seen in some time. By the time she's chugged J&B (an Italian movie essential), sauntered and magically wound her sheer top around the entirety of that fucking awesome bedroom, I'm trusting my homosexuality about as much as I trust that Sassy Dwarf Manservant.
